Something new...

Things have been pretty busy lately, like, the perfect kind of busy. You know, the absolute fun things. The best part of my job is when an idea suddenly takes shape in my mind and I sit on the bench and it just FLOWS.

I'm working on a new collection! I was supposed to launch it last month but you know how these things go and I decided to just invest the time I need on it and let the work flow organically. But having said that, I do plan to launch at the beginning on May. Exciting times.

In other exciting developments, I received the awesome news that I'll be part of Puces POP spring edition happening at the beginning of May!! So, as you can imagine production has begun and the days at the bench are pretty interesting, with all the making of new things and old favourites.

Anyway, what do you think of the little sneak peek I just gave you with that GIF? You like what you see?! Wait until you see it finished, it's lovely!

I still owe you the last instalment of the IG for creatives series, don't think I've forgotten is just that time on the computer right now is limited!

Thanks for reading this.

Spring Puces POP

It has been a while since the last time I posted, how time flies!!! Many news, many things to tell you; I hope all is good for you! Things have been crazy over here: a lot of trips to the doctor and stressing days, but also a lot of happy visits, surprises, new adventures and tons of work! Will tell you more about it soon but first I want to show you some photos (crappy light photos taken with my phone so don't have high hopes on them!) I took last weekend at Puces POP!

I was so happy to be part of the show once more and it was a weekend to remember: it was one of my most successful shows yet! Thanks so much to all the lovely people that stopped by to say hi (virtual friends from Etsy, IG, FB, I love how the social networks make us connect and unite each other!); to all my friends that came visit and brought me chocolate ;D; to my lovely family for your patience, help and support; to the organizing team at Puces POP (awesome job as always!); to my fellow vendors for your company, advice, inspiration; to magazines, blogs and photographers that stopped by to ask a question and take a photo and most importantly, thanks to you, lovely customer for your purchases and support! You are the one that shape my dreams and to see you wearing my jewellery is to me something WONDERFUL!

I took this one just outside the place Puces POP took place. I love this venue because the space in big and is just in front of Laurier metro station!
This photo resumes a bit what I spent the weekend doing: eating cookies from JJ comestibles parched Goods and drinking LemoLemonade, yummmm!!!
A bit of my table! My new little houses in bronze, the grain of sand ring, the Solstice necklaces, spoon necklaces, cloud stud earrings and Solstice bracelets were the stars of the show!!!!
And I brought lots of new prints from my photos!!! I love them so much and people were so loving them as well, yay!
Busy times!
And here some of my faves of the show:
1 & 2, Montreal stamps by Katie Brioux, just awesome!
3, Home wares by KeepHouse Studio, I bought a tray and coasters from them, gosh do they make pretty things...
4, The amazing cross stitch work of Samantha Purdy from Maudstitch Work.
1, Air plant holders in beautiful geometric shapes by Cliche.
2, Beautiful leather accessories from Matu.
3 & 4, The super lovely Natacha from Nanoukiko & Triko and her textile jewellery!

Thanks so much Puces POP, a la prochaine!

About cloudy days and grainy photos.

So many photos I need to take (for the new collection and an exciting feature) and the days for the last week or more have been cloudy, gloomy, rainy...A couple weeks ago days were amazingly sunny and I knew I needed to take advantage but procrastination won and I missed my chance of nice light for pictures. Now I'm at the weather's mercy and getting a bit panicked as I truly want to 'unveil' the new pieces by the end of this month.

Aaaanyways. I took these grainy (annoyed with the light) photos today when I was sitting at my desk trying to get some work done but of course I didn't. My little one was around and she decided to try on my ring and be my hand model ;) That gorgeous ring is a vintage piece made of bronze and I added the lapis lazuli cabochon on it. It's a truly gorgeous piece and I'm in love with it, I'm thinking maybe keeping it or maybe to sell it, I don't know...I had it cast in silver, just two pieces which I will set cabochons of amazonite and lapis lazuli on them respectively, those I'll put for sale for sure :) Anyone would be interested in the vintage one?

OK, I'll get to work now, too much to make for Puces POP and Urban Craft, I'm a bit behind on production! No free evenings or weekends for me until fairs are over, but I love it, don't get me wrong: specially now that things are slooowwwly.

To the bench! (Thank goodness husband is making dinner: mushroom risotto, mmm!)

Thanks for reading :)

Spring Puces POP

Hello!

I'm super happy to tell you I'm part of the Spring edition of Puces POP from May 31st to June 2nd at the basement of Saint-Michel Church in Saint-Viateur. The most exciting part for me is that I'm going to showcase my new collection for the first time!

And check out a sample of other wonderful artisans that will be part of Puces:

And here's a photo of a small part of my inventory for the show. See you at Puces!

Hello

How are you? I hope really great and enjoying your week! Things are great over here: been real busy working for two craft shows coming up in no time: the first one is Puces POP starting on May 31st here in Montreal and the second one is Urban Craft on June 9th in Ottawa. I'm pretty excited about having a show outside Montreal for the first time ever!

Also, I've been working on a wholesale order for a pretty lovely British website that will launch soon! The owner of the website is such a lovely person and I LOVE her taste for beautiful things (check out her blog and see for yourself!) so I'm reaaaally excited about it! I'll update you on that when her website is up and live.

And today I was suuuper excited as one of my favorite bloggers, well, I need to correct that, my favorite blogger in the history of the world, Diana from Miss Moss, made a blog post and included my Desert Rock Ring and one of my vintage stacking ring sets among many other GORGEOUS jewelry. So yay!

Another thing that got me super happy today was to find out two of my favorite pieces of jewelry were included in another beautiful blog, Village: The Faceted Rock Stud Earrings and my beautiful Pebble ring that I love so much. You got to check out the blog because it's pretty cool.

Last but not least, my new collection is now complete and finished, yay!! I love it so much and I can't wait to show you, but first the sun needs to come out so I can take pretty photos to update my shop :) Before the update I'll definitely give you a sneak peek!

And those are the things I've been up to lately :) Please stay tuned because lots of exciting things are coming!

If you read all of that, THANK YOU!!

xx
